Olympics Champ Michael Phelps Dives Into Xbox 360 Kinect with Swimming Video Game

Wouldn’t it be cool to have your own name on a video game? Michael Phelps, who won eight swimming gold medals at the 2008 Olympics, is living the dream and enjoying it to the hilt as his Xbox 360 Kinect video game debuts today at Amazon.com and GameStop.

“It’s my game and it’s cool,” said a beaming Phelps who was polite and patient as a parade of press marched in and out of a New York hotel room as his game “Michael Phelps: Push the Limit” debuted this week. He said he was happy at the outcome of the game after a year and a half of working with the developers at Blitz Games Studios and the distributors at 505 Games.
